I've come to the end of this series of books.

I hate the end of books, I especially hate the end of a series, knowing that there will never be any more than this.

Whenever I have to be up early for a specific occasion and/or event, I find this very same problem occurs. I get into bed a little early with all good intentions to get a good night's sleep. Then what happens? I lie there, and lie there, and lie there...until I get annoyed and check Twitter, my emails, LJ, anything.

ARGH. Seems I forget that people on Twitter don't care that it's not been 24 hours since a show was on. They'll just share the BIGGEST spoiler of an episode, regardless of who will see it.

I'm in Oxford. Yes, where the very famous university is.

My mum was driving down to visit my sister for the night so I tagged along. They're off wherever and I'm booked into a hostel in the centre.

For a while now I've been struggling to write. Not just a little, not a few days or weeks of struggling. I'm talking months, I'm not sure how I got through any of the challenges I have taken part in this year. I had a burst of about seven days at the start of February which was wonderful. Aside from that, it's like my plot bunnies have been dying.

What the hell are people's problem? I especially avoid standard train coaches because when I'm travelling I like to be able to do what I want to - listen to music without a background of chatter, write, read a book - and of course other people want to do what they want - listen to music so loud that the whole carriage can hear it, talk loudly on ( Read more... )
